Readers say the darndest things!

"The enemy doesn't wear turbans...they wear serapes.''

This was a gem of wisdom from one of my faithful, regular readers who regularly scour my columns looking for me to show just a little trace of my Mexicaness, so they have a chance to denounce me as one of "them." Since I wrote about the driver's license issue last Sunday, I was flooded with e-mail from readers who took the opportunity to share some of their thoughts with me, such as the one above.
